This ON-SITE position requires balancing the cost, quality, and delivery of products to ensure an uninterrupted flow of materials and contribute to the company's efficiency.\nResponsibilities\nSourcing: Evaluate potential domestic and international suppliers based on quality, cost, and compliance with specifications.\nNegotiation and Contract: Negotiate prices, submit contracts, and terms of purchase. Review purchase orders and agreements.\nOrder Processing and Expediting: Create and issue purchase orders, track their status, and expedite deliveries as needed to prevent production delays.\nInventory Control and Demand Forecasting: Monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking. Collaborate with production and operations teams to forecast future demand.\nCost Analysis and Optimization: Analyze price proposals, and total cost to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement procurement strategies to achieve savings targets.\nQuality Assurance and Issue Resolution: Work closely with quality control and engineering departments to ensure purchased materials meet quality standards. Resolve issues related to defective or unacceptable goods, invoice discrepancies, and delivery problems.\nDocumentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of purchases, supplier information, and contracts.
