Assists with processing and balancing assigned payrolls in a timely and accurate manner.\nResponsibilities\nUtilizes a payroll application to input payroll data including hours, special payments, deductions, banking & tax data, etc. for running payroll. Responsible for this weekly entry and payroll processing for approximately 5-7 different payrolls across different locations in the US. \nProcesses garnishment, child support and tax levys per legal requirement.\nCompletes audit checks and reviews the payroll data entered prior to processing and finalizing the payrolls.\nCommunicates and collaborates with Human Resources team members to validate information and ensure accurate payroll processing \nEnters payroll summary information onto weekly payroll consolidation worksheet.\nReconciles payroll-clearing account for all assigned payrolls.\nCreates and runs ongoing monthly and periodic reports for business unit leaders and finance teams.\nOn an as needed basis, calculates and prepare manual checks.\nAnswers associates’ questions and responds to various payroll inquiries from Human Resources. \nMay also assist with preparing and entering weekly payroll cash and/or monthly tax adjustments into finance management system \nResponds to employment verification requests and to wage verification requests and audits from unemployment agencies.\nCompletes other duties as assigned \nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma\n1-2 years of experience working administratively with payroll or similar accounting area.\nTechnical knowledge of the payroll function\nExperience using a payroll application or software, preferably ADP Enterprise\nStrong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.\nProficient with Microsoft Excel \nProblem solving and troubleshooting skills \nCustomer service and communication
