Work with management to identify and implement RCI opportunities to improve plant financial performance. Manage payroll activities to ensure proper payment of wages, adherence to all policies. Manage a staff of 2 to 8 employees.\nResponsibilities\nEnsure all daily accounting operations are running properly\nClose financial month timely and accurately\nProvide clear and accurate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly plant financial performance reporting\nEnsure financial account reconciliations are completed accurately and timely\nPresent balance sheet and account reconciliations during quarterly accounting reviews\nEnsure SOX compliance throughout plant organization\nRun inventory cycle count program to ensure compliance with accuracy and completeness requirements\nPerform both formalized and adhoc financial analysis to support the business\nWork with management to identify, implement, and track RCI opportunities to improve plant financial performance\nDevelop and track adherence to annual, quarterly, and monthly financial forecasts\nDirect payroll activities to ensure proper calculation of wages, deductions & taxes, including the timely distribution of payroll checks/advises. Ensure adherence to contractual agreements and payroll policies.\nEnsure the integrity of product standard costs. Update as required by company guidance.\nDirect any special assignments required to enhance plant performance.\nQualifications\nB.S. or B.A. undergraduate degree required with a finance and/or accounting specialization.\n5 to 7 years work practical financial work experience required\nCPA and/or MBA preferred\nComputer skills with knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office software.\nSound knowledge and understanding of general accounting, cost accounting, purchasing, and payroll policies and procedures.\nDemonstrated skills in operation planning and cost reduction.\nA comprehensive understanding and knowledge of a standard cost system and the corresponding budgeting process.\nExcellent analytical and investigative skills.
