This position pulls, stages, and delivers raw materials and inventory items according to production schedules and work orders, helping to maintain efficient manufacturing operations. The Material Picker works closely with Production, Warehouse, Inventory Control, and Purchasing teams to ensure materials are available when needed and inventory records remain accurate.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nThe following statements describe the general nature and scope of work performed in this role. Reasonable accommodation(s) may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.\nPull, stage, and deliver raw materials, components, and parts to production and assembly lines according to work orders and production schedules.\nReplenish materials at designated production areas to prevent line stoppages and maintain continuous workflow.\nVerify material quantities, part numbers, and descriptions before issuing materials to production.\nTransport materials safely using carts, or other material-handling equipment as authorized.\nReturn unused materials to designated storage locations and ensure accurate inventory transactions.\nMaintain inventory accuracy by recording material movements using inventory management systems, scanners, or manual documentation.\nAssist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits as needed.\nOrganize warehouse and storage areas to ensure materials are properly identified, stored, and easily accessible.\nFollow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and good manufacturing practices.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards.\nSupport other warehouse, inventory, and production activities as assigned. \nREQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent. Minimum three years’ experience in manufacturing environment. \nPrevious experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, material handling, inventory control, or related field preferred.\nExperience working in an assembly or production environment is a plus. \nAbility to read and interpret work orders, production schedules, pick lists, and inventory documents.\nBasic computer skills and experience using inventory management systems, scanners, or ERP systems preferred.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy when handling materials and inventory transactions.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nGood communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to prioritize tasks and respond quickly to changing production demands.\nKnowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control practices, and material handling procedures preferred.\nHighly motivated, high energy with the ability to both works independently and with the team\nVery strong organizational skills.\nAbility to prioritize and to focus on details with attention to accuracy and deadlines. \nThis position works primarily in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
