Monitoring all waste water systems and making the necessary changes to insure environmental compliance. Monitoring all plating process systems and making the necessary changes to insure plating standards are met. Maintaining adequate chemical inventories, compliance records and permits.\nResponsibilities\nKEY TASKS\nEnvironmental\nComprehensive monitoring of waste streams to ensure compliance with Federal, State and local regulations as well as conditions specified in permits held by the facility.\nReports any out of specification to supervisor.\nPerforms water treatment activities including: waste water analysis, start up, close down, pH checks, chemical additions, collecting samples of water, acid washing the vibratory and metal F006 filter press.\nInspect pits, tanks, equipment.\nResponsible for the calibration and maintenance of pH and ORP equipment.\nResponsible for filter changes on water reuse and quality of water.\nMaintain inventory of treatment chemicals.\nPerforms as a Team Lead for waste treatment dept.\nAttends training as necessary to keep current on regulations.\nConducts regular inspections of waste storage areas and other areas necessary for pollution prevention.\nOther duties as required.\nProcess Department \nComprehensive monitoring of Nickel Chrome plating process.\nPerform analysis of nickel, chrome and pretreatment chemistries.\nReports any out of specification to supervisor.\nConducts regular inspections of tanks and storage areas.\nSubmit the required samples for analysis to the appropriate agencies.\nAttends training as necessary to keep current on electroplating processes.\nOther duties as required.\nComprehensive monitoring of black oxide process\nPerform analysis of black oxide\nComprehensive monitoring of vibratory finish process\nPerform analysis of vibratory finish and rust prevention\nQualifications\nREQUIREMENTS\nHigh School diploma\nPREFERRED\nPlating\nCertified course in electroplating.\nEntrepreneurial in their thinking, skills and knowledge \nInterest in current technology and trends.\nSpecialized Training or 1 -
