Assist with day-to-day production problem solving and communicating needs, problems, and results. Develop and maintain quality control & manufacturing documentation. Starts out at $23.75/hr and attendance incentive. Hours are 5:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday and every other Friday.\nResponsibilities\n· Perform quality audits and inspections across all manufacturing processes, and stages of production.\n· Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective action\n· Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers, and dial indicators.\n· Improve processes and/or routings where needed for improvements in safety, quality, delivery and productivity/cost.\n· Perform root cause investigation and implement steps for resolution of production related engineering and manufacturing problems.\n· Evaluate data noting any relevant deviations from existing standards\n· Perform incoming material receiving inspection\n· Assist with the development and maintenance of a manufacturing quality system.\n· Investigate and report non-conformances\n· Other duties as assigned\nQualifications\nMinimum of 2 years of inspection and/or production experience\nAbility to interact with peers and subordinates.\nHigh level of mechanical aptitude.\nMust have experience in the use and calibration of standard QC inspection tools, test equipment and instruments\nWorking knowledge of:Blueprints \nManufacturing processes\nProduction equipment capability\nTooling & Fixture design\n\nMust have excellent communication skills including written (email correspondence, report writing, etc.)\nMust have strong knowledge of mathematical principles and concepts including fractions, conversions, etc. \nAbility to understand and interpret engineering 2D & 3D engineering drawings using autocad style software and be able to extract necessary data from the drawings to perform QC tasks.\nMust be proficient in Microsoft Office suite products including Word, Outlook, Excel, etc. \nMust be able to stand for long periods of time and work extended hours\nSpecific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to focus\nMust be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. \nMust align with the Snap-on mission statement\nMust wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which includes;
