Snap-on’s Safety priorities and maintain a safe working environment through awareness and focus. \nExamines material or product for surface and operational defects. \nVerify specified dimensions of product or material. \nAudits procedures to ensure processes are followed accurately. \nDocuments inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records. \nReject defective parts and products. \nIdentify trends and root causes of product defects. \nSupport our safety/training team to modify procedures to avoid defects and waste. \nConduct Process and product audits on a defined schedule, and whenever and wherever it is determined necessary based on current quality data. \nDocument and communicate nonconformances via NCR / Corrective Action program. \nCalibration and maintenance of measuring devices \nRead and interpret blueprints/schematics and associated tolerancing \nUse critical thinking skills to solve complex problems \nMust have strong math skills \nOther duties as requested. \nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED. \nKnowledge of Conway Manufacturing Products. \nComputer experience should include \nMS Office Suite \nAble to navigate to and within web pages \nAble to navigate an ERP system and perform tasks such as moving inventory \nCapable of utilizing various types of measuring equipment including: \nCalipers, micrometers, etc. \nStrong communication/interpersonal skills \nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision \nTeam player \nAbility to work flexible hours (i.e., overtime as required) \nExcellent attendance record
