In this essential role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring the timely delivery of products to our customers and the proper storage and handling of received goods.\nPay rate $23-27 per hour\nResponsibilities\nReceiving:\nUnload incoming deliveries, verifying quantities and condition against packing slips and purchase orders.\nReceive and process incoming goods for service department work.\nReport any discrepancies or damages to designated personnel.\nProperly store received goods, maintaining accurate inventory records.\nShipping:\nPick and pack orders based on customer requests and shipping instructions.\nWeigh and measure packages to determine appropriate shipping methods and costs.\nPrepare and print shipping labels, ensuring accurate and compliant documentation.\nSchedule pick-ups with carriers and track outgoing shipments.\nInventory Management:\nMaintain accurate inventory levels, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or shortages.\nAssist with inventory control procedures, including cycle counts and stock takes.\nOrganize and maintain a clean and safe work environment in the shipping and receiving area.\nCommunication and Collaboration:\nCommunicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.\nMaintain clear and accurate documentation of all shipping and receiving activities.\nAct as primary backup for the warehouse/ops manager.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum of 1 year of experience in a shipping and receiving or related warehouse environment (preferred).\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nAbility to lift and maneuver moderate weights (up to 50 lbs).\nProficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nNorbar Torque Tools offers 100% paid medical insurance and a company-funded HSA.
