As a member of the team, you'll be responsible for manual testing the next generation of Snap wearable computing devices such as SPECS. Working from our Vienna office, you'll be collaborating closely with the Specs Product, Design, and Software teams locally and around the world.\nWhat you’ll do:\nSupport manual testing of firmware to identify regressions.\nTest software applications on mobile devices (iOS and Android) and report critical information to aid developer teams with triaging issues.\nMonitor and triage reported bugs from Jira and Crash Report Tooling.\nDesign, develop, and maintain innovative testing approaches, ensuring all products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability before release.\nDevelop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans. \nCollaborate closely with the QA team, Developers, Design and Program Managers to resolve issues efficiently.\nRun test sessions in the Vienna office with the local team.\nIdentify areas for process and product improvement, providing recommendations and driving initiatives to enhance product quality.\nRegularly use the products to continuously improve test coverage and maintain stability (exploratory testing).\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nStrong debugging, tracing, and bisecting skills.\nHardware testing experience (consumer products and or mobile testing).\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nHigh attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.\nTeam player with strong communication and customer-focused skills.\nProven track record of designing and implementing test cases at the application and system level.\nAbility to thrive in uncertain, early prototype stages of a project.\nNatural curiosity for products, new technology, and innovation.\nDemonstrated ability to utilize current AI tools to enhance efficiency and foster innovative problem-solving.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science or equivalent experience.\n2+ years of industry experience in quality assurance.\nProficiency with QA tools and familiarity with common development environments.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience designing, implementing, executing, and supporting stress and load testing against hardware devices, UI, and Cloud.\nFamiliarity with agile test tools and methodologies \nExperience with Release Testing.\nExperience testing IoT devices running Android.\nPassion for identifying and classifying issues to improve quality.\nStrong passion for creativity and solving cutting-edge industry problems.\nIf you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please don’t be shy and provide us some information.\n\"Default Together\" Policy at Snap: At Snap Inc. we believe that being together in person helps us build our culture faster, reinforce our values, and serve our community, customers and partners better through dynamic collaboration.
