Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom ABAP solutions and tools within SAP Central Finance to support clearing of open items and financial close activities in the absence of CPAY functionality.
  • Design and build custom ABAP reports/programs/tools for open item analysis and clearing in CFIN.
  • Support PoC development to demonstrate feasibility of proposed solutions to business.
  • Enhance or extend CFIN integrated FI objects based on functional designs.
  • Ensure technical solutions align with accounting, compliance, and reporting requirements.
  • Support unit testing, defect fixing, and performance optimisation.
  • Collaborate closely with CFIN functional consultants during design and implementation.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on ABAP development experience, preferably in SAP Finance and Central Finance landscapes, with familiarity with FI tables, document processing, and CFIN integration scenarios.
