You’ll work on a modern, cloud-native stack across AWS and GCP. You’ll focus on automation, observability and security, and learn from experienced engineers while taking on real production responsibility. You’ll also use AI tools to streamline day-to-day operations.\nYou’ll help us scale a multi-cloud, AI-driven platform that powers millions of gifting experiences worldwide. You’ll work with AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD, with guidance and mentorship from the team.\nYou Will:\nSupport and maintain AWS/GCP infrastructure (networking, IAM, multi-account setups) under the guidance of senior engineers.\n\nWrite and update Terraform code, GitOps flows and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, ArgoCD).\n\nHelp deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters and serverless applications.\n\nBuild and maintain dashboards and alerts using Prometheus and Grafana, and explore AI-assisted insights.\n\nApply security best practices and help with compliance automation.\n\nUse AI tools to speed up development, spot anomalies and assist with incident response.\n\nTake part in on-call and incident handling, first as a shadow and then gradually on your own.\n\nDocument processes and runbooks.\n\nYou Have:\n1-2 years in a DevOps, SRE, cloud or system administration role. Strong relevant projects, a military technology unit background or internships also count.\n\nHands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, at the level of working on them rather than designing them end to end.\n\nA basic understanding of AWS core services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC) and familiarity with AWS Lambda and serverless concepts.\n\nCuriosity about AI automation in DevOps, and an interest in using it in your daily work.\n\nA strong desire to learn, take ownership and work well in a team.\n\nBonus points\nPython/Bash scripting skills (Go is a plus).\n\nExposure to cloud cost optimization or FinOps.\n\nInterest in internal developer platforms or platform engineering.\n\nCloud certifications (e.g. AWS Cloud Practitioner or Associate level).\n\nSnappy is the award-winning, all-in-one gifting company that spreads joy, shares gratitude, and takes the guesswork out of gifting.\nFounded in 2015, Snappy was named one of Inc.’s fastest-growing companies in the Northeast in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
