This is a fully remote opportunity open to candidates in the Philippines. The ideal candidate has previous experience supporting U.S. healthcare operations and is comfortable communicating with patients, providers, caregivers, and internal teams.\nCandidates with backgrounds as Patient Coordinators, Intake Coordinators, Home Care Coordinators, Medical Virtual Assistants, or similar healthcare support roles are encouraged to apply.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate communication between patients, families, healthcare providers, caregivers, and internal teams.\nSchedule appointments and follow-ups and assist with day-to-day patient coordination.\nMaintain accurate patient information and documentation within EHR/EMR systems.\nHandle inbound and outbound patient calls, emails, and follow-ups.\nProcess referrals and assist with insurance eligibility verification and prior authorizations when required.\nConduct patient follow-ups and help resolve scheduling, documentation, or service-related issues.\nCoordinate with home care services, medical equipment providers, and other healthcare resources when needed.\nEscalate urgent patient concerns, service delays, or care gaps to the appropriate team.\nMaintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality at all times.\nRequirements\nPrevious experience supporting a U.S.-based healthcare organization or medical practice.\nFluent English with strong verbal and written communication skills.\nExperience with patient coordination, medical administration, scheduling, intake, or similar healthcare support.\nFamiliarity with EHR/EMR systems and healthcare documentation.\nUnderstanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple patients, tasks, and follow-ups simultaneously.\nReliable computer, internet connection, and remote workspace.\nNice to Have\nPrevious experience as a Patient Coordinator,Care Coordinator, Intake Coordinator, Home Care Coordinator or Medical VA.\nU.S. home health or home care experience.\nInsurance verification or prior authorization experience.\nExperience with platforms such as HHAeXchange, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar healthcare systems.\nPrevious experience working remotely with a U.S.-based healthcare team.\nWho We're Looking For\nSomeone who is organized, proactive, empathetic, comfortable speaking with patients, and able to follow through on tasks without constant supervision.
