This opportunity is open to Malaysian candidates only. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and responsiveness across both frontend and backend systems.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDefine solution design and system architecture for customer-facing and backend applications.\n\nDesign and develop scalable, high-performance, and low-latency systems for mission-critical applications.\n\nTranslate business requirements into technical solutions and drive technology strategy alignment.\n\nDevelop end-to-end solutions across mobile/client, backend services, and databases (including APIs and stored procedures).\n\nEnsure software quality through code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and agile practices.\n\nWrite and maintain technical documentation, including architecture and API documentation.\n\nTroubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems to ensure stability and performance.\n\nManage system monitoring, production support, release management, and application security.\n\nSupport SIT/UAT activities and resolve technical issues during project delivery.\n\nCollaborate with product managers and engineering teams to design and deliver effective solutions.\n\nProvide technical leadership and guidance to ensure high-quality engineering outcomes.\n\nWhat would you need?\n\n4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in Agile environments.\n\nExtensive experience in Node.js for REST APIs and microservices.\n\nStrong expertise in microservices, event-driven, and distributed system architecture.\n\nExtensive AWS experience (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch).\n\nStrong experience in serverless architecture using AWS Lambda.\n\nSolid understanding of system design principles focused on scalability, reliability, and performance (NFRs).\n\nStrong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including schema design and performance tuning.\n\nExperience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, Git, and automated testing.\n\nUnderstanding of networking fundamentals (HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, WebSockets).\n\nStrong problem-solving,
