Customer Support Advisor (Fixed-Term Contract - Data Cleansing)

Additional Role Purpose

This is a 12 month fixed-term contract role established to support a data cleansing project across customer records and business systems. Alongside providing customer support and transactional administration, the post holder will be responsible for reviewing, validating, updating and maintaining customer data to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance across D365 and other relevant systems.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to data quality, with the ability to identify discrepancies, investigate issues and ensure information is accurately recorded and maintained. The role will play a key part in improving data quality, supporting operational efficiency and enabling colleagues to deliver a better customer experience through reliable and up-to-date information. Attention to detail, accuracy and a methodical approach to work will be essential for success in this role.

Additional Key Accountabilities

• Review customer records and identify incomplete, inaccurate or duplicate data.

• Make proactive outbound contacts with customers.

• Validate information through system checks, customer contact and collaboration with internal teams.

• Update and maintain customer records in D365 and associated systems in line with agreed data quality standards.

• Carry out data cleansing activities to improve the accuracy, integrity and completeness of customer information.

• Ensure customer information is recorded consistently and in accordance with GDPR and data protection requirements.

• Support project milestones and targets associated with the data cleansing programme.

• Produce accurate audit trails and maintain records of data amendments completed.
