What we do makes a real difference to people's lives, and you'll share the satisfaction of doing something that really matters in a environment where your health and safety is important to ensure you and your colleagues stay safe and well, everywhere, every day.\nAs a Heating Engineer, you will carry out Gas Servicing and Heating Breakdowns within Sovereign Network Group's customer homes in accordance with prescribed work schedules, the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) regulations and to Sovereign Network Group's established standard procedures set for delivery of exceptional customer service.\nYou will also carry out planned maintenance checks on systems and equipment, repair gas leaks or old gas system parts, and be responsible for installing/repairing heating system pipe work, while advising customers about gas safety and energy efficiency.\nAs you'll spend a fair amount of time on the road, we will provide you with a van and fuel card so you'll not be out of pocket.\nWhat we're looking for:\nGas qualifications:CCN1 - Core Gas Safety\nCENWAT1 - Central Heating Boilers & Water Heaters\nMET1 - Meters\nCKR1 - Domestic Cookers\nHTR1 - Gas Fires & Wall Heaters\n\nIdeally, you'll have an NVQ Level 2 in Domestic Plumbing (or equivalent)\nGreat communication skills\nA full UK driving licence with the ability to drive a company van\nPrevious experience as a domestic gas service and breakdown engineer\nPreferably, experience of working within social housing\nComfortable working independently and as part of a team\nConfidence in using IT equipment such as iPads\nPlease note, this role is subject to a satisfactory licence check, essential\nqualifications check and a basic disclosure.\nAbout SNG\nIt's an exciting time to be a part of the team as Sovereign have joined forces with Network Homes to form SNG (Sovereign Network Group).
