Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (CDK, CloudFormation).

  • Architect and manage cloud networking components, including VPC design, subnets, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, Route 53, and load balancers.

  • Automate CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodeBuild.

  • Implement proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using CloudWatch, Grafana, or Datadog.

  • Lead incident resolution, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery/backup planning.

  • Optimize system performance, troubleshoot network bottlenecks, and evaluate continuous improvements to DevOps processes.

  • Enforce security best practices, access controls, and compliance policies across all environments.

Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering.

  • Advanced hands-on expertise with AWS core services (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, S3) and complex AWS networking architectures.

  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages, specifically Python and Bash (working knowledge of Node.js or Go is a plus).

  • Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (CDK or CloudFormation) and CI/CD tools.

  • Strong understanding of event-driven architectures, microservices, and observability tools.
