Oversee products with minimal guidance, often on accelerated timelines.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nParticipate in engineering design reviews\nReview and approve special process certifications (welding, plating, heat treatment etc.)\nCreate inspection requirements, key features, data evaluation, balloon drawing\nDefine, review, and conduct First Article Inspection.\nReview and approve manufacturing build documents including work orders and nonconformance records.\nUnderstanding 8D, 5-Why, fishbone, fault tree analysis\nSupport effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions \nSupport scrap and rework reduction projects as required\nPerform periodic audits of the application of our quality system in accordance with AS9100/ISO9001\nCollaborate with internal customers on quality related concerns; develop and present training materials to build quality awareness.\n Minimum Qualifications:Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder)\n Preferred Qualifications:BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, or minimum of 3 years in Quality\nBackground in component machining, welding, machining, inspection\nUnderstanding of GD&T \nRCCA/CAPA fundamentals\nQuality Management System audit experience\nLean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Green Belt\nQuality assurance experience in production environment.
