Inspections include, but not limited to, First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspection. Utilize precision monitoring and measuring instruments including CMM. Must be able to communicate well with others and properly document and report out of tolerance items immediately. Accurately maintain paperwork, computer logs and other required documentation on a consistent basis.\nKey Responsibilities:\nUnder the supervision of the QA Supervisor, the primary accountabilities and responsibilities of the QA Technician will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:\nWorks with Department Supervisors to report floor quality concerns.\nInspects first articles in a timely and accurate manner.\nInspects final inspection parts with accuracy and efficiency.\nReceives in process inspection parts from outside processes.\nInterprets complex customer drawings.\nWorks with shop employees to address quality concerns.\nWorks with shop to create inspection method at machine.\nConfirm routers and manufacturing drawings are correct.\nConfirm shop employees are using proper in process inspection sheets.\nAbility to measure parts with all inspection tools.\nBuild highly complex AS9102 inspection reports.\nInterpret customer quality codes.\nCreate split lot when needed.\nCalibrate CMM daily as needed.\nKeep workspace clean and organized.\nCreate shipping paperwork and COC’s.\nNon-Essential Responsibilities:\nWork with machinist when asked for advice on manufacturing.\nAbility to repair damaged critical parts.\nWork with shop on how to fix damaged part.\nAssist machinist when concerned with quality issue.\nOther duties as assigned by management.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or GED.\n2-4 years of precision machine experience.\nAble to read blueprints. \nExperience with MS Word, MS Excel.\nFamiliarity with the operation of the following equipment: calipers, micrometers, CMM, blade mics, hole mic, inside-depth mics, flange, thread, gland, multi anvil mics, dial bore gauges, indicators, height gauge, V-blocks, 123 blocks, sine bars, squares, protractor, Cadillac gauge, hardness tester, pin gauges, tooling balls, deltronics pins, and radius gauges.\nExcellent customer relations skills.\nExcellent math skills.\nTime management skills\nWritten and oral communication skills.\nProfessional work attitude.\nProblem solving and critical thinking skills.\nSafety Responsibilities:\nPractice safe and efficient work techniques to minimize potential injuries and hazardous conditions.\nParticipate in safety meetings and inspections.\nMaintain equipment in good working order.\nEnsure that material areas are kept neat and orderly.\nMaintain acceptable levels of housekeeping at all times with regard to equipment and assigned work area and/or
