This role sits at the intersection of analytics engineering, data product development, and applied AI, and is responsible for building both the team and the systems that power next-generation Finance.\nYou won’t just deliver dashboards-you’ll lead the development of scalable data products, intelligent workflows, and AI-driven applications that transform how Finance operates, makes decisions, and drives efficiency.\nThis is a highly cross-functional leadership role requiring a balance of strategy, execution, and people leadership. You’ll partner closely with Finance, business stakeholders, and Engineering to translate ambiguity into durable, production-grade solutions.\nIn this role, you will:\nSet vision and lead execution\nDefine and drive the roadmap for Finance Analytics, aligned to business priorities and long-term data strategy.\n\nTranslate ambiguous business problems into scalable data products, AI solutions, and automation initiatives.\n\nBuild and lead a high-performing team\n\nHire, develop, and mentor a team of analysts, analytics engineers, and data product builders.\n\nEstablish best practices across data modeling, experimentation, and product development.\n\nFoster a culture of ownership, speed, and continuous learning.\n\nOwn data products end-to-end\nOversee the design, development, and adoption of data products, dashboards, and internal applications used to run Finance.\n\nEnsure solutions are scalable, reliable, and deeply embedded in business workflows.\n\nDrive AI-powered transformation\nLead the development of intelligent workflows, such as automation, copilots, agents, and decision-support tools, that increase leverage across Finance.\n\nIdentify high-impact opportunities to apply AI and automation to core financial and operational processes.\n\nStrengthen the data foundation\nPartner with Data Engineering to ensure high-quality, well-modeled, and governed datasets.\n\nEstablish standards for data quality, documentation, and discoverability.\n\nInfluence decision-making at scale\nDeliver actionable insights and shape strategic decisions through data.\n\nAct as a thought partner to Finance leadership, bringing a data-driven perspective.\n\nChampion operational excellence\nIdentify inefficiencies and drive system- and process-level improvements.\n\nImplement scalable solutions over one-off analyses.\n\nWhat You Will Need\nRequired Qualifications\n8+ years of experience in analytics, data engineering, BI, or related fields, with 2+ years in a people management role.\n\nDeep expertise in SQL and building scalable, production-grade data models.\n\nExperience with modern cloud data platforms, such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.\n\nStrong proficiency in Python, or similar programming languages, for data transformation, automation, or application development.\n\nExperience building data products, not just dashboards, including tools, apps, or workflows used in business operations.\n\nDemonstrated experience applying AI/LLMs, such as Cortex, OpenAI, Claude, or similar technologies, to real business problems.\n\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.\n\nExperience supporting Finance organizations.\n\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with ERP, financial planning, or business planning systems.\n\nBackground supporting finance, business operations, or analytics teams.\n\nFamiliarity with agile development practices.\n\nWhat Sets You Apart\nBuilder + leader mindset: You can set strategy while staying close to the work.\n\nProduct orientation: You think in terms of user adoption, usability, and impact-not just delivery.\n\nSystems thinker: You design scalable, reusable solutions that stand the test of time.\n\nBias for action: You move quickly, iterate, and prioritize impact over perfection.\n\nAI-forward: You actively explore and apply emerging AI capabilities to unlock new ways of working.\n\nUser obsession: You deeply understand stakeholder needs and design solutions that truly improve their workflows.\n\nSnowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth.
