At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.\nIN THIS ROLE AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:\nPrepare financial statements and notes to accounts in accordance with local GAAP and internal policies.\n\nConvert US GAAP trial balances to local GAAP or IFRS, reconcile balances periodically, and document GAAP differences.\n\nEnsure entries in the local GAAP ERP are recorded accurately and on time.\n\nPartner with the Tax team to provide information for interim and final tax provisions.\n\nPrepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations.\n\nEstablish audit timelines with external auditors and standardize prepared-by-client (PBC) lists.\n\nCommunicate audit requirements and deadlines to stakeholders, monitor progress, resolve queries, and drive audits to completion.\n\nManage statutory filings, including certified annual financial statements and supporting documents required by local authorities.\n\nReview financial close activities regularly to identify and resolve unusual items.\n\nCollaborate with global Accounting Operations and cross-functional teams, including Tax, HR, Legal, and Compliance.\n\nCreate and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).\n\nMaintain organized, accessible records and ensure timely data backups in accordance with internal policies.\n\nIdentify and implement accounting and process improvements to streamline operations.\n\nResearch changes to accounting standards, income tax regulations, and compliance requirements, and assess their impact.\n\nPrepare disclosure checklists and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and disclosure requirements.\n\nSnowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth.
