At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to challenge assumptions and redefine the future of how work gets done.\nIn this role you will get to:\nPartner with account executives and cross-functional teams to drive the technical win across the sales cycle\n\nPresent Snowflake’s vision, platform, and value to technical and executive audiences\n\nWork hands-on with customers to demonstrate the value of Snowflake through discovery, demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements\n\nGuide customers on modern data architecture, solution design, and implementation considerations across analytics, data engineering, AI/ML, performance, and governance\n\nTranslate customer business challenges into practical solution patterns that drive adoption and long-term value\n\nDevelop trusted relationships with architects, engineers, platform teams, and business stakeholders within strategic enterprise accounts\n\nMaintain an understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and position Snowflake effectively in relation to them\n\nCollaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake’s products, messaging, and field effectiveness\n\nHelp customers stay current on Snowflake product innovation, roadmap developments, and emerging use cases\n\nRepresent Snowflake at customer meetings, executive briefings, workshops, and industry events\n\nOn day one we will expect you to have:\n6+ years of experience in a customer-facing solutions engineering, sales engineering, solution architecture, or technical pre-sales role\n\nStrong competency across modern data stacks, including ETL/ELT, data warehouses, data lakes, analytics, and cloud-native data platforms\n\nExperience working with enterprise customers in complex technical and stakeholder environments\n\nStrong hands-on technical capability, including SQL and Python\n\nThe ability to connect a customer’s technical and business challenges to a practical Snowflake solution\n\nExcellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences\n\nConfidence facilitating whiteboarding sessions, technical workshops, and solution discussions\n\nA pragmatic, collaborative approach and willingness to be hands-on in driving customer success\n\nStrong relationship-building capability, professional presence, and the ability to simplify technical concepts into structured business narratives\n\nA sense of agency, with a self-starter mindset to proactively seek out and drive opportunities forward\n\nWhat success looks like in this role:\nYou quickly establish credibility with technical teams and key stakeholders across the account\n\nYou bring a practical, execution-oriented style that helps move opportunities forward\n\nYou translate Snowflake capabilities into clear business and technical value\n\nYou create technical champions and trusted relationships within your customer environment\n\nYou contribute to both immediate deal progression and the long-term growth of the account\n\nAbout Our Team:\nOur Solution Engineers are customer obsessed and serve as the bridge between our most strategic customers and our internal product organization.
