The Frontier Engineering team turns Snowflake's mission of mobilizing the world's data into concrete outcomes inside customer environments. In this role you lead both the business growth and the delivery success of Frontier Engineering across your region, owning the full cycle from opportunity creation through scoping, contracting, delivery, and continued growth, and acting as a trusted advisor who balances customer business outcomes with cloud data strategy.\nAS AN SR. ENGAGEMENT MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:\nOwn accountability for Frontier Engineering quarterly bookings, consumption, and utilization targets across your assigned accounts and region, as part of the broader account team\n\nPartner with Account Executives, Solution Engineers, and delivery leadership to identify services opportunities, scope engagements, author proposals and Statements of Work, and lead internal Deal Review and investment approval processes\n\nOwn and be accountable for the bookings forecast across your Book of Business, tying every engagement to clear customer outcomes such as revenue growth, cost reduction, risk reduction, and faster Time to Value\n\nDesign and continually refine the delivery roadmap for key accounts, managing project progress, schedule, deliverable quality, and early detection and escalation of scope, schedule, cost, and quality risks\n\nServe as the initial point of escalation for customers and project teams, earning trust on both sides and leading decision-making in difficult situations\n\nOwn project financials, including revenue forecasting and cost control, balancing healthy margins with customer satisfaction, and report outcomes, risks, and next steps to executive leadership\n\nProvide delivery quality oversight and guidance for Snowflake engagements by assisting in the creation and execution of the overall vision for service delivery and client satisfaction, ensuring adherence to delivery best practices\n\nOwn, manage and communicate the operational relationship with assigned clients, including the creation, implementation, and tracking of relationship roadmaps\n\nManage key client projects by communicating effectively with project team members, management and project stakeholders on status, issues, risks, and project goals and objectives through clear project documentation, meetings and any required follow-ups\n\nBuild mid-to-long-term account plans and Data Cloud roadmaps with account teams, and design co-delivery and co-selling models with SI, GSI, and ISV partners, including scalable subcontractor and staff-augmentation models\n\nLead practice and operational improvements: SOW standardization and templates, risk-based deal review, reusable assets and best practices, and Cortex AI and GenAI-assisted workflows for contract and SOW drafting and engagement summaries\n\nMentor and coach delivery consultants, drive delivery governance through QA reviews and health checks, and share best practices with Practice Directors and peers across regions\n\nOUR IDEAL ENGAGEMENT MANAGER WILL HAVE:\n10+ years of experience in a Sales and Services Delivery role, or equivalent experience, spanning complex enterprise technical projects such as cloud DWH and data platform implementation, modernization, or AI/ML adoption\n\nA proven track record of achieving quantitative KPIs such as bookings, utilization, and consumption in a delivery or similar organization\n\nExperience negotiating with and managing executive stakeholders from CxO to VP level across sales, delivery, product, and partner organizations\n\nDirect experience in the data warehouse, business intelligence, or cloud data platform space, or equivalent experience\n\nBoth strong business literacy and technical understanding: able to translate customer business goals into Snowflake platform scenarios and to discuss architectural and implementation constraints and risks alongside technical teams\n\nClear, concise cross-functional communication with a track record of leading diverse groups toward consensus\n\nStrong organizational skills and ownership, with the ability to autonomously manage multiple projects and accounts in parallel\n\nBONUS POINTS FOR THE FOLLOWING:\nExperience supporting local-government customers and understanding public-sector procurement, compliance, or data requirements in Singapore\n\nExperience in a technical advisory role such as solution architect, technical account manager, or system administrator\n\nHands-on project experience with the Snowflake AI Data Cloud or other cloud data platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP\n\nExperience collaborating within a Data, AI, or Analytics partner ecosystem across SI, GSI, and ISV partners\n\nSnowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth.
