Coordinates fleet management and ensures regular maintenance of vehicles, including information on vehicle insurances and taxes.\n Vehicle Operations and Safety\nHave end responsibility for the use of the car, clean and fuel vehicle, check inventory (e.g. first aid kit, spare tire, etc.) and the status of the vehicle, identify any damage and report these to the supervisor, arrange and keep track of periodical service schedule and insurance.\nConform safety and traffic regulations, in order to arrive in a timely and safe manner.\nDriving\nDrive passengers or deliver errands within the identified areas, following the traffic regulations, safety instructions, and situations, and based on the travel arrangements of the passengers and/or delivery requirements.\nTechnical Maintenance\nRegularly check and maintain the main maintenance areas (e.g., oil, tire pressure, etc.), identify technical malfunctions, check potential repair alternatives, conduct repairs to the vehicles, and/or send for repair in consultation with the supervisor in case of complex and/or costly repair.\nAdministration\nKeep a logbook of all driving activities, fuel, and any incidents and accidents.\nEnsure insurances and taxes of vehicles are up to date.\nExecute activities to support others based on request, like assist in logistic activities.\nPick up and deliver messages, documents, packages, and other items between offices or departments within an establishment or directly to other business concerns, based on requests.\nPlanning and Coordination\nPlan transport, coordinate drivers, contact and contract suppliers and garages for maintenance and services, ensure valid insurances for the fleet, and check and document valid driver licenses of all persons driving SNV vehicles.\n Educational Qualification and Experience\n12th or 10th grade complete and at least five years of experience as a Driver.\nAdditional Skills\nMust have a 3rd-grade renewed and valid driving license.\nHaving a diploma in auto mechanics is an advantage.\nTechnical knowledge of vehicles and basic maintenance.\nExperience in an INGO environment is preferable.\nBe reliable, punctual, committed, and self-motivated.\nCompetencies:\nAccountability\nStress Resistance\nAdaptability\nClient orientation\n Contract Type: National, Full-time\nExpected start date:December 1 2026\nDuty Station: Adama\nContract Duration: One year with the possibility of extension based on performance and budget availability.\nHow to Apply\nIf you believe that your credentials meet the outlined profile, we invite you to apply by uploading your CV and a letter of motivation before/on October 23, 2026.
