Security stops being a queue of work waiting for people, and becomes a coordinated workforce companies direct and trust.\nJob Summary\nSnyk is hiring an Associate Implementation Consultant to help enterprise customers get started with the Snyk platform after the sale. You will support and deliver onboarding engagements, working with customer development and security teams to configure Snyk across their SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. This is an early-career role for someone with a technical foundation who wants to build a career in customer-facing application security, with hands-on work from your first weeks and structured coaching from experienced consultants along the way.\nAbout the Team\nThe Customer Solutions team owns the technical success of Snyk's customers after the deal closes, from first onboarding session through full platform adoption. Implementation Consultants work alongside Technical Success, Support, Sales, and Product to turn a customer's security goals into a deployed, measurable program. As Snyk's install base continues to grow, this team is expanding to keep delivering a world-class onboarding experience at scale.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDeliver onboarding engagements for customers with well-defined requirements, following Snyk's onboarding methodology from kick-off through closure.\n\nSupport senior consultants on larger and more complex implementations, taking ownership of defined workstreams and learning how enterprise rollouts are planned and run.\n\nConfigure and integrate the Snyk platform with customer source control, CI/CD, container, and cloud environments, working from documented procedures and escalating questions early.\n\nJoin customer kick-offs, working sessions, and status reviews, and keep customer contacts informed on progress and next steps.\n\nAnswer customer questions about how Snyk works, and bring in senior consultants, Support, or Product when an issue needs deeper expertise.\n\nKeep accurate project plans, notes, and handoff documentation so every engagement is easy for others to pick up.\n\nUse Snyk's onboarding playbooks and templates, and suggest improvements when you find gaps.\n\nTroubleshoot common integration and configuration issues, and document what you learn for the rest of the team.\n\nHelp customer teams understand developer-first security practices so they keep using Snyk after onboarding ends.\n\nBuild your skills through regular coaching, shadowing, and Snyk's technical training and certification programs.\n\nWhat you’ll bring\n1+ years in technical consulting, professional services, technical support, or another customer-facing technical role, or equivalent hands-on experience such as an internship or relevant projects.\n\nFoundational knowledge of the SDLC and modern DevOps practices, and curiosity about where security fits into both.\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD and DevOps tooling (for example Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes), with the motivation to go deeper.\n\nAbility to manage your own tasks and deadlines across more than one customer project, with support from your team.\n\nThe ability to explain technical topics clearly to developers and other technical contacts, in writing and in conversation.\n\nGenuine interest in application security and belief that a developer-first approach is the right way to solve it.\n\nA collaborative, customer-first approach and a willingness to ask questions, take feedback, and learn quickly.\n\nWorking fluency with AI-assisted tools (Claude, Gemini, or similar) and comfort with how AI-generated code is changing what customers need to secure.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication, plus an organized approach to problem solving.\n\nNice to have: basic proficiency in a scripting language such as Python, JavaScript, or another modern language.\n\nNice to have: prior experience in a support, solutions engineering, or technical account role for AppSec, CI, or DevSecOps products.\n\nNice to have: a security certification such as Security+, CSSLP, or CEH.\n\nNice to have: a Project Management Professional (PMP) or CAPM certification, or equivalent project management coursework.\n\nNice to have: a Computer Science degree or equivalent programming background, and exposure to enterprise-scale web technologies and microservices.\n\nAbout Snyk\nSnyk is committed to creating an inclusive and engaging environment where our employees can thrive as we rally behind our common mission to make the digital world a safer place.
