Security stops being a queue of work waiting for people, and becomes a coordinated workforce companies direct and trust.\nJob Description\nThe GTM Automation Engineer will be part of a highly collaborative environment where developers, testers and the business work together as a team to deliver the best possible Salesforce-based solutions using agile development. You are experienced with Salesforce.com, APEX and Sales and Marketing Automation systems. You are a problem solver with excellent execution and communication skills. You will use this experience to deliver the systems that will help Snyk in its rapid growth.\nThe GTM Automation Engineer takes ownership of tasks of increasing complexity (for example system design and implementation, advanced technical support requests). They complete tasks with minimal guidance and direction from others. They develop mastery in one or two technical areas, and begin to identify an area of specialization within CIS.\nHandles complex technical issues and escalates problems to higher-level support when necessary.\n\nDevelops and implements support processes and procedures for improved efficiency and customer satisfaction.\n\nCollaborates with other CIS teams and with stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve system-wide issues, contributing to overall system and infrastructure improvements.\n\nProvides user support, training, and documentation to ensure effective utilization of systems & tools.\n\nSpecific Requirements for the GTM Automation Team:\nDevelops Sales and Marketing automation solutions while partnering with stakeholders from the different departments that use Salesforce.com at Snyk\n\nImplements integrations between Salesforce.com and other systems that support our sales and marketing processes\n\nFigures out ways to \"find the bug\" utilizing top-notch troubleshooting techniques and all the tools and systems available within the GTM organization, and digging deep into code\n\nIdentifies root causes, and fixes, and develop new debugging tools while working closely with product teams\n\nAnalyzes and identifies gaps in functional and business requirements; discusses and elaborates with product owners on required changes that align with the SFDC stack and architecture\n\nCollaborates with team members to deliver high quality solutions in a timely manner\n\nBuilds integrations between SFDC and external applications using REST APIs, Auth and Single Sign on, as well as Heroku Connect and other data management systems.\n\nProficiency in understanding the relevant hardware and/or software technologies, including its features, functionalities, and capabilities.\n\nKnowledge of managing user profiles, roles, and permissions to ensure data security and appropriate access control.\n\nAbility to provide basic customization to end-users and/or clients within the relevant platform, system, or tool based on incoming requests.\n\nAbility to analyze and resolve complex technical issues, both hardware and software-related, with a logical and systematic approach.\n\nSkilled in multitasking, prioritization, and managing projects in a fast-paced environment.\n\nAble to contribute to project success by coordinating tasks and resources.\n\nAdvanced communication skills to interact with end-users, understand their IT-related problems, and provide effective technical support in a friendly and professional manner.\n\nAbility to summarize and communicate information of moderate complexity to peers and immediate team members.\n\nTakes ownership of assigned tasks and projects, seeking guidance when needed, and showing an emerging willingness to take initiative in contributing to strategic initiatives.\n\nAnticipates challenges before they arise and takes proactive steps to resolve after consulting with the team/manager.\n\nDemonstrates willingness to collaborate with team members and seek feedback from managers and senior colleagues. Begins to actively participate in cross-functional discussions.\n\nShows adaptability to changing priorities and requirements in the strategic environment.\n\nDemonstrates a growing interest in learning about the industry, trends in technology, and business strategies.\n\nOpen to new ideas and perspectives, contributing to brainstorms and discussions with a developing understanding of the organization's strategies.\n\nBeginning to offer creative solutions to challenges.\n\n3-5 years of relevant experience working as a developer, and have a solid SFDC customization and configuration experience.\n\nSpecific Skills for GTM Automation:\nHave development experience with SFDC configuration using Apex, Lightning Components etc.\n\nPossess the ability to identify the best automation tool/framework/utility to implement a certain solution or a fix to ‘stop the bleeding’ but also have insight to recommend the long term solution with a keen eye on reducing tech-debt.\n\nThoroughly understand the SFDC deployment processes.\n\nHave experience with Agile development methodologies and have worked as part of an agile development team.\n\nHave experience with Heroku, python or Node.js development and microservice architectures.\n\nHave coding experience and experience with the use of APIs to automate processes and integrate systems.\n\nHave experience with Salesforce CPQ.\n\nHave experience with Mulesoft.\n\nAbout Snyk\nSnyk is committed to creating an inclusive and engaging environment where our employees can thrive as we rally behind our common mission to make the digital world a safer place.
