We hustle every day to help meet the unique needs of each organization we work with and we are looking for Systems Administrators in the Lincoln/Omaha and surrounding areas to help our team and the organizations we work with grow.\nWe offer great benefits including, self managed time off, medical reimbursement, free life/dental/vision, cell phone & internet reimbursement, 401k, free parking in the heart of downtown Lincoln, and more!\nWhat we are looking for in a Systems Administrator:\nProven experience as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role\nExperience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management\nKnowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recover\nExtensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows and supporting applications\nFamiliarity with various operating systems and platforms\nResourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude\nAbility to communicate effectively and professionally with all clients and coworkers\nPast work experience in a high-traffic customer service setting\nExcellent phone etiquette\nExcellent customer service skills that exceed customers’ expectations\nStrong problem solving and research skills\nAbility to acquire and maintain a working knowledge of a wide range of applications and services\nContinual awareness of changes that directly affect other team members and customers\nMust hold or have the ability to obtain A+, Network +, and Security + certifications within 1 year of employment.\nWhat our Systems Administrators do:\nInstall new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements\nDevelop and maintain installation and configuration procedures\nContribute to and maintain system standards\nResearch and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.\nPerform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups\nPerform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusion\nPerform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary\nPerform regular file archival and purge as necessary\nCreate, change, and delete user accounts per request\nProvide support per request from various clients\nInvestigate and troubleshoot issues\nRepair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted clients\nApply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure/add new services as necessary\nUpgrade and configure system software that supports infrastructure applications per project or operational needs\nMaintain operational, configuration, or other procedures\nPerform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning\nPerform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
