You'll enjoy both improving how work gets done and ensuring the day-to-day work is completed accurately and consistently.\nThis is not a traditional administrative role. You’ll work directly with the Operations Manager to support the systems, processes, data, technology, and operational infrastructure that keep the firm running effectively. You'll contribute to meaningful projects while building broad business operations experience and taking on increasing responsibility as you grow in the role.\nWhat You'll Do\nPrepare and maintain recurring operational reporting, dashboards, Excel-based tools, business metrics, and data across firm systems.\n\nHelp build, document, test, and improve business systems, workflows, automations, and standard operating procedures.\n\nSupport cross-functional projects by maintaining timelines, tracking action items and dependencies, following up on deliverables, and helping initiatives move from planning through completion.\n\nExecute recurring operational processes accurately, consistently, and on schedule, escalating issues when appropriate.\n\nAssist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including technology access, equipment, documentation, systems setup, and operational checklists.\n\nSupport vendor relationships, software renewals, operational contracts, and technology inventory.\n\nServe as the first point of contact for routine technology support, coordinating with our managed IT provider on escalated issues.\n\nLeverage technology and AI to reduce manual work, improve reporting, and increase operational efficiency.\n\nIdentify inefficiencies, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve existing processes, and work with the Operations Manager to develop and implement solutions.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n2+ years of experience in operations, business operations, project coordination, business systems, or a related role.\n\nStrong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data organization, and analysis.\n\nExperience with CRM and project management systems; Redtail and Asana experience are a plus.\n\nStrong technology aptitude and comfort learning new software and troubleshooting routine software, hardware, access, and user-account issues.\n\nExperience using AI tools to improve productivity, reporting, workflows, or operational processes.\n\nStrong attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.\n\nExceptional work ethic and reliability. You hold yourself to a high standard, follow through on every commitment, and make the people you support more effective.\n\nResourceful and comfortable researching unfamiliar problems, asking thoughtful questions, and working toward solutions.\n\nAbility to manage recurring responsibilities alongside project-based work and shifting priorities.\n\nStrong communication skills and judgment about when to work independently, when to ask questions, and when to escalate an issue.\n\nFinancial services or RIA experience is a plus but not required.\n\nYou’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy creating order from complexity, solving problems, and taking pride in getting the details right. You’re comfortable receiving direction and then figuring out the steps needed to execute. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectations environment and are willing to put in the extra effort when the work demands it.
