You can view our Awards and Accolades here!\nRole Description\nThe Manager, Local Visibility Optimization, is the company’s foremost authority on search, visibility, and digital market intelligence. Building on a foundation of deep SEO and GEO expertise, customer problem solving, and cross-functional enablement, this role takes on a broader mandate: defining and stewarding the brand’s point of view on search and market dynamics, equipping every team, from Product, CS, Sales, and Marketing, to communicate that POV with clarity and conviction, and creating the content and frameworks that make it real across customer-facing storytelling.\nThis individual also serves as the external face of that expertise by producing original thought leadership content, representing the brand at industry events, and building the company’s reputation as a trusted, authoritative voice in the market. Success in this role means the organization speaks with one informed perspective, every team can lead with POV and value, and the brand is recognized externally as a go-to resource in its space.\nResponsibilities\nDefine and continuously refine the company’s SEO and search narrative, grounded in data, client outcomes, and emerging industry signals\nTranslate complex market intelligence into accessible frameworks that internal teams and external audiences can adopt and act on\nPartner with leadership to align the POV with overall brand strategy and product positioning\nMaintain a living library of insights, frameworks, and talking points that serve as the backbone for cross-functional storytelling\nDevelop and maintain a comprehensive SEO enablement program within Customer Success, including playbooks, and performance benchmarks\nMaintain our Paid Local SEO Consulting services, and ensure all deliverables are met and evaluated. \nCollaborate with CSMs on listings and local pages strategy, ensuring frontline teams can advise clients with confidence\nPartner with cross-functional teams to shape product messaging, inform roadmap value storytelling, and ensure features are contextualized within market trends\nHost weekly cross-functional updates and conduct regular training sessions to keep the organization sharp and aligned\nProduce a consistent cadence of thought leadership content: blog posts, webinars, and video commentary\nStay up to date and knowledgeable on best practices and enable SOCi’s SEO strategists with this information and expertise.\nMeet with CSMs as needed to offer prescriptive analysis on SEO performance, updates, and best practices\nAttend Critical Account Program calls to discuss at-risk customers to help address SEO adoption and performance concerns and build strategy collateral for the teams.\nGuide internal partners in the design of effective SEO programs that meet business objectives\nProvide QBR guidance for CSMs that mirror industry best practices and effective ways to evaluate success.\nRequired Skills & Experience \n7+ years of past SEO experience\nExperience in AEO, and GEO \nOrganized and detail-oriented\nSolid written and verbal communication skills\nAdvanced Excel and Google Sheets experience\nGoogle Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Screaming Frog experience required\nAbility to multitask\nFamiliar with all Microsoft’s business programs / Google suite\nTakes initiative and strong at following up\nExceptional customer advocate and internal ambassador\nExperience in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment\nStrong understanding of SEO performance metrics, both for website and listings\nKnowledge of various project management methodologies ( e.g. agile/ scrum ) and ticketing platforms ( e.g. Jira ) a plus\nSOCi expects to pay a base salary in the range of 89,500 CAD- 128,500 CAD base salary.
