By embedding community features within an app, brands can foster deeper interactions, increase user retention, and unlock new monetization opportunities.\nYour impact:\nBehind the product, we’re building an AI-native work environment: a company where every team works alongside AI agents grounded in centralized, well-governed data and context. As an AI Ops Intern, you’ll help make that real - closing the gap between what the company knows and what our AI systems can actually use.\nThe work sits at the intersection of data engineering, context engineering, and AI adoption: connecting company data into our centralized data and agentic platform, working with domain experts to encode their knowledge into AI-usable context, and using observability to continuously improve how the company works with AI.\nThis is a hands-on operational role. You’ll ship pipelines, curate glossaries and skills, analyze usage patterns, and own the improvements you propose - end-to-end, from idea through production and iteration.\nYour team:\nYou’ll join the team under the Head of AI and Architecture, working on the forward edge of the platform - data and AI infrastructure, internal tooling, intelligence systems, and the agentic workflows the rest of the company runs on. It’s a lean team with wide scope and meaningful influence over what gets built.\nYour day-to-day responsibilities:\nIntegrate and sync data from internal systems (product analytics, CRM, operational tools) into our centralized data platform on GCP/BigQuery and connected agentic tooling.\nMaintain data syncs and materializations with attention to correctness, freshness, and query cost.\nWork with domain experts across product, sales, support, and engineering to capture business definitions, workflows, and tribal knowledge as structured AI context - glossaries, skills, and reference documents.\nManage and optimize that context over time: version it, deduplicate it, and keep it accurate as the business evolves.\nInstrument and monitor how teams actually use AI tools - which queries succeed, where agents fail, and where people fall back to manual work.\nTurn those observations into continuous improvements: better prompts, better skills, better onboarding, better defaults.\nIdentify data and context gaps that block AI systems from solving real company challenges, and propose (or build) what’s needed to close them.\nDocument what you learn in a form both humans and AI agents can execute, so the same problem is never solved twice.\nYour ideal profile:\nYou’re curious about how AI systems behave in the real world, and equally comfortable writing a data pipeline and sitting with a salesperson to understand how they define a qualified lead. You care about correctness and cost, you write clearly, and you’d rather fix the root cause than the symptom.\nCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field - or equivalent self-taught experience.\nGood at data engineering - comfortable building and reasoning about data pipelines, syncs, and transformations.\nGenuine curiosity about LLMs and agentic systems: you’ve used AI tools seriously, not just casually, and you have opinions about what makes them work well.\nStrong written communication - much of this role is turning messy human knowledge into clear, structured text.\nComfortable talking to non-technical colleagues and translating their expertise into something a machine can use.\nNice to have\nExperience with BigQuery, GCP, or another cloud data warehouse.\nFamiliarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol), RAG, prompt engineering, or agent frameworks.\nExposure to analytics concepts (MAU, retention, engagement metrics) or SaaS business metrics.\nWhy this internship:\nDirect mentorship from the team building social.plus’s data and AI infrastructure.\nReal ownership - your pipelines, context libraries, and improvements will be used company-wide.\nA front-row seat to what an AI-native company actually looks like from the inside, and a hand in shaping it.\nPotential path to a full-time role.\nWhat’s in it for you:\nBe part of a category-defining company: We’re changing how brands build communities.\nGlobal, remote-first culture: Work with top talent across different countries.
