Job Description – Java Microservices Developer, Camunda
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Java Microservices Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using modern microservices architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
- Work with PostgreSQL for database design and optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environment
- Ensure code quality using best practices such as CI/CD and TDD
- Deploy and manage services using container technologies
- Practical experience with microservice architecture
- Knowledge of Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JUNIT, Maven
- Practical experience with creating unit tests
- Kubernetes, HELM charts, Istio
- Kafka and Kafka Streams
- Artemis MQ messaging
- PostgreSQL and SQL
- Elastic (primarily Elasticsearch and Kibana)
- HTTP, TLS, working with certificates and Java keystores
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Camunda 8, Zeebe Engine, gRPC protocol, knowledge of BPMN notation
- Knowledge of Frontend development (Angular) is advantage
- Knowledge of Big Data solution is advantage
- Knowledge of Devops support of Applications is advantage
- Be capable of handling end‑to‑end delivery, including requirements analysis, solution design, and contributing to architectural decisions is advantage
Minimum 5+ years of relevant development experience in Java and microservices-based systems.
