Within SGSS Switzerland, the Business Support team supports client servicing, regulatory activities, reporting and business management. The team works closely with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure efficient operations and high quality of service.\nThe Business Support Intern will support SGSS Switzerland across a broad range of business management, operational, regulatory and reporting activities. The role provides exposure to the day-to-day management of a securities services business while contributing to client lifecycle management, regulatory fund services, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.\nThrough this internship, the successful candidate will gain practical exposure to securities services, KYC processes, Swiss regulatory fund activities, business reporting, audit support and stakeholder management within an international banking environment.\nTasks and responsibilities:\nKYC management for SGSS clients\nSupport client onboarding, offboarding and KYC processes\n\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, systems and client records\n\nAssist with periodic KYC reviews and remediation activities\n\nLiaise with clients, operational teams and internal stakeholders to ensure timely follow-up\n\nPrepare regular status updates and management reporting\n\nSwiss Representative Fund general support work\nSupport regulatory submissions, fund registrations and related documentation\n\nMaintain fund records and coordinate with clients and external stakeholders\n\nAssist with publication and listing activities\n\nMonitor key deadlines and regulatory requirements\n\nReview marketing materials for compliance with local regulations\n\nReporting and statistics management\nAssist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly business reports, KPIs, KRIs and management statistics\n\nAudit related tasks, where applicable\nSupport internal and external audit activities by collecting information, preparing documentation and tracking action items\n\nBusiness Management Support:\nSupport the preparation of management presentations, dashboards and business reports\n\nAssist with business analyses, market research and ad hoc management requests\n\nContribute to process improvement and digitalisation initiatives\n\nSupport the documentation and maintenance of internal procedures\n\n Profile required\n\n Studies & experience:\nCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics or a related field\n\nCommercial apprenticeship with banking exposure may also be considered\n\nPrevious exposure to banking operations, KYC, compliance or financial services (through internships, apprenticeships or academic projects) is an advantage\n\nLanguage skills:\nFluent English (written and spoken)\n\nFrench, German or Italian would be considered an asset\n\nTechnical, operational & Soft skills:\nGood knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint\n\nInterest in leveraging digital and AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot) is a plus\n\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail\n\nAgility and adaptability\n\nStrong team spirit\n\nProactive and can-do attitude\n\nAbility to synthesize information and present it clearly\n\nStrong communication skills\n\nDuration: 18 -24
