Platform Operations & Reliability (Run Engineering)\nOperate and maintain key platform services such as the Terraform Registry, Tracing infrastructure, SGCP Quality & Observability resources, and documentation & chat‑support systems.\nEnsure availability, performance, resilience, and secure lifecycle management for all production components.\nPerform patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation, aiming for minimal human intervention on production systems.\nLead incident response, perform deep root‑cause analysis, and implement long‑term corrective actions.\nReduce operational toil through automation, workflow industrialization, and proactive reliability engineering.\n2. CI/CD & Delivery Platforming\nOperate and evolve the cloud platform’s CI/CD pipelines and reusable workflows used by ~300 developers.\nManage the lifecycle of base Docker images: security hardening, automated build pipelines, versioning, and distribution.\nMaintain and extend the platform’s IaC toolchain, including Terraform workflows, deployment pipelines, and registry management.\nContinuously improve delivery performance, deployment reliability, and overall developer experience.\nContribute to the technical roadmap with an engineering‑driven mindset.\n3. Observability Engineering\nMaintain and enhance the cloud platform’s observability stack across traces, and dashboards.\nEnsure full visibility into system behaviour, performance drifts, errors, and capacity indicators.\nBuild automation for alerting, anomaly detection, and platform health insights, improving signal quality and reducing noise.\nSupport SRE practices to strengthen platform reliability through data‑driven insights.\n4. User Support & Platform Adoption\nParticipate in system demos, validation sessions, and operational readiness reviews.\nAct as a partner for SG Cloud engineering teams in troubleshooting and platform enablement.\n Key Skills & Competencies\nTechnical Skills\nStrong experience with CI/CD tooling (Github Action/GitLab CI, Jenkins)\nSolid expertise in Infrastructure as Code—Terraform, Ansible preferred\nHands‑on experience with platform automation, scripting/coding (Python), and workflow orchestration\nProficiency in containerized environments (Docker / Kubernetes, registries, build pipelines)\nUnderstanding of monitoring and observability at scale (metrics, logs, traces)\nEngineering Mindset\nReliability‑first mindset with strong operational discipline\nAbility to automate, industrialize, and eliminate manual processes\nStrong troubleshooting capabilities across distributed systems\nClear communication and collaborative problem solving across global teams\n\n Profile required\n\n Required Skills & Experience7+ years of experience in software development and architecture.\n\nProgramming & Architecture: Strong experience in Python, Golang object-oriented programming, and microservices architecture.\nCloud Expertise: Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, operations, and resource definitions;
