The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Oracle Database technologies, strong hands-on skills in PL/SQL development, and proven experience in cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Azure, or AWS.\nThis role requires strong analytical abilities, performance tuning expertise, and the ability to architect scalable, secure database and cloud solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nOracle Database Engineering\nDesign, deploy, and maintain Oracle databases (11g, 12c, 19c, or later).\nPerform advanced performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.\nImplement backup & recovery strategies using RMAN, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.\nManage database security, user access, auditing, and data masking.\nConduct database upgrades, migrations, and patching with minimal downtime.\nOptimize database storage, indexing, partitioning, and memory management.\nCloud Architecture & Development\nDesign and build cloud-native solutions on OCI, Azure, or AWS.\nMigrate on-prem Oracle databases to cloud platforms.\nImplement automated provisioning, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).\nWork with cloud services including:\nOCI Autonomous DB, Exadata Cloud Service\nAzure/AWS RDS for Oracle\nCloud networking, security, WAF, IAM\nDevOps & Automation\nAutomate database tasks using Python, Shell scripting, Ansible, Terraform, etc.\nSet up monitoring and alerting using OEM, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or OCI Monitoring.\nCollaboration & Leadership\nWork closely with architects, developers, analysts, and security teams.\nProvide technical guidance, documentation, and best practices.\nSupport production systems with on-call availability as required.\nRequired Skills & Experience\nTechnical Skills\n15+ years of hands-on Oracle DBA and development experience.\nStrong expertise in:\nOracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate\nPL/SQL programming\nPerformance tuning (AWR, ASH, SQL Tuning Advisor)\nBackup & recovery (RMAN)\nExperience with OCI, AWS, or Azure cloud environments.\nKnowledge of microservices, containers (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.\nUnderstanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud.\nStrong scripting experience (Python, Shell, PowerShell).\nSoft Skills\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nExcellent communication and documentation ability.\nAbility to work in agile, fast-paced environments.\nPreferred Qualifications\nOracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Cloud certifications.\nExperience with Exadata or Autonomous Database.\nExposure to big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark) is an advantage.\nExperience with CI/CD and DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform.\nEducation\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.\n\n Profile required\n\n Years of Experience –15+ years and above\nQualification / Certification – Engineering graduate / MCA / Computer Science Graduate or PG.
