In this role you will be at the nexus between our customers and our engineering, product, and design teams. You'll work cross-functionally in order to provide technical education, guidance, and support in a pre-sales capacity.\n\nWhat You'll Do \n\nLead discussions and product demonstrations to showcase capabilities; address customer challenges, respond to questions, and handle objections.\n\nCraft technical content to guide customers in implementing specific use cases or extending our solution.\n\nCollaborate with account teams to understand customer requirements and translate them to Socket capabilities, emphasizing business value.\n\nSupport Proof of Concepts (POCs) that align with customer requirements; provide technical expertise, troubleshooting, and guidance throughout the evaluation process.\n\nProvide guidance on integrating solutions into the customer's existing infrastructure.\n\nDistill and communicate customer needs and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.\n\nCollaborate with Customer Success to drive post-sales revenue, ensure retention, and contribute to growth.\n\nExecute cross-functional projects involving teams such as Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n\n5+ years in pre-sales technical roles (Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, TAM) with commercial customers\n\nPrior experience in security, developer tools, or SaaS environments\n\nHands-on technical background: prior software engineering, data science, or equivalent role\n\nDeep familiarity with package managers (at least one of npm or PyPI) and programming ecosystems (at least one of JavaScript or Python)\n\nUnderstanding of software supply chain security and vulnerability management concepts\n\nAbility to read/write basic scripts in Python, JS, or Go\n\nKnowledge of source control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)\n\nRESTful API and integration experience\n\nOur Interview Process\n\nPhone Screen with our Talent Team\n\nVirtual f2f with the Hiring Manager\n\nVirtual f2f with members of our Sales Team\n\nPresentation\n\nFinal call with our Founder\n\nDebrief \n\nReferences\n\nOffer\n\nHiring is a big decision on both sides.
