Asbestos Surveyor

Job Description:

• Undertake asbestos surveys of a broad range of premises
• Collect samples and identify asbestos-containing materials
• Liaise with clients and Project Managers
• Accurately record site information and submit reports
• Support safety of workplaces and communities across defence, rail, roads, power stations, retail, heritage, and service sectors
• Contribute to SOCOTEC’s testing, inspection, and certification services and mission of building a safer, more sustainable world

Requirements:

• BOHS P402 / RPSH Level 3 in Asbestos Surveying
• Strong asbestos knowledge and understanding of regulations
• Attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive and adaptable approach
• Ability to liaise with clients and Project Managers
• Ability to accurately record site information and submit reports
