This is a hands-on, physically active role where you will be handling, mixing, breaking, and testing real construction materials like concrete, soil, asphalt, and masonry every day. If you enjoy working with your hands, solving practical problems, and seeing tangible results from your work, this is the job for you.\nCandidates will be responsible for performing laboratory tests related to Concrete, Soil, Asphalt, Masonry, and other construction materials in accordance with applicable testing standards/methods.\nWhat You'll Do\nGet hands-on with soils and construction materials - mixing, molding, curing, and physically testing samples using standardized lab methods.\nOperate and work directly with lab testing equipment (compression machines, sieves, molds, ovens, and more).\nLift, carry, and move materials and samples as part of daily testing routines.\nRecord and report test results accurately, following ASTM and other industry standards.\nKeep the lab running smoothly - cleaning, organizing, and maintaining equipment and workspaces.\nCalibrate and verify lab equipment to ensure testing accuracy.\nPitch in on field/construction materials testing support when needed.\nPerform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.\n A genuine interest in working with construction materials in a physical, lab-based environment.\nWillingness to learn technical testing skills; full training provided.
