This position requires working with our team to conduct materials and mechanical testing, field monitoring, and non-destructive evaluations of structures. Candidates with less experience, but exceptional background is encouraged to apply.\nThe candidate will be responsible for:\nCoordinating, planning, and conducting standard and custom mechanical and material testing in the laboratory, including tensile, Charpy V-notch, leak/pressure, long-term durability testing, and others\nLeading and completing field testing and monitoring including installation of sensors, deploying data acquisition systems, data collection and analysis\nPreparation of written reports of tests including analysis of data and interpretation of results\nConducting field and site inspections\nManaging projects, pursuing new business opportunities, and communicating effectively with colleagues, technical and administrative staff, clients and other stakeholders\nCompleting all duties as assigned by their manager\n The following qualifications and skills are required for this position:\nDegree in Mechanical, Civil, Materials or other relevant fields of engineering, with familiarity/expertise in mechanical and material testing, instrumentation and data analysis.
