If you want to help build the future of identity with a team that holds a high bar for itself - keep reading.\n\nAs a Senior Pre-Sales Solution Consultant, Payments you’ll serve as the primary technical and strategic advisor to prospective customers throughout the sales cycle, including payment processors, acquirers, issuers, payment service providers, and fintechs that move money for some of the largest financial institutions and digital platforms in the world. You will partner closely with Sales, Data Science, Product, and more senior members of the Solution Consulting team to ensure our products are at the forefront of the payments industry.\nThis role blends product expertise, consultative selling, and technical strategy. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Product, Data Science, and Customer Success to ensure clients understand the value of our solutions and experience a seamless technical journey from evaluation through adoption.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAct as the technical lead during the sales cycle-understanding client needs and mapping them to Socure’s solutions\n\nLead discovery, solutioning, technical workshops, and Proof-of-Concept (POC) design in collaboration with Sales and Data Science\n\nDeliver compelling product demonstrations and articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders\n\nCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with client goals and expectations\n\nAdvise clients using deep domain expertise in identity verification, fraud risk, compliance, and/or regulated industries\n\nInfluence product development by sharing market feedback and insights with Product and Engineering teams\n\nContribute to thought leadership and marketing efforts-whitepapers, webinars, blogs, and customer stories\n\nServe as a mentor to junior Solution Consultants and help build best practices for the team\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\n8+ years of relevant experience, with 3+ years in professional services, solutions engineering, or technical consulting\n\nTrack record of success in supporting enterprise SaaS sales, particularly with data-driven or ML-enabled platforms\n\nStrong technical acumen: familiarity with APIs, cloud-based platforms, RDBMS, ML/DS concepts, etc.\n\nExpertise in risk, fraud, or compliance domains-particularly within financial services, fintech, gaming, or wireless\n\nComfort translating technical concepts into business value for C-level and technical stakeholders alike\n\nExperience working with fraud analytics, decisioning systems, threshold optimization, or swap set analysis\n\nKnowledge of key regulatory frameworks: FCRA, ECOA, GLBA, BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, etc.\n\nExcellent communication skills-both verbal and written\n\nBachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative discipline preferred-or equivalent experience\n\nAdditional Details:\nHybrid work model: Employees are expected to be onsite at one of the talent hubs 2x/week (Tuesday/Wednesday)\n\nIdeal employees will live within 60 miles of our talent hubs in: San Francisco, CA; Miami, FL; Seattle, WA; Washington, DC; New York City, NY\n\nSocure is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity in all its forms within our company.
