The College is located half hour south of Winnipeg. In this role, you'll play a vital part in maintaining our kitchen's cleanliness and organization, ensuring that all dishes, equipment, and utensils meet our high sanitation standards. If you're organized, efficient, and passionate about maintaining food safety standards, we'd love to hear from you!\nServing food and interacting with customers and students\nSome food preparation may be required\nWash dishes, glasses, utensils, and cookware by hand or using commercial dishwashing equipment, ensuring all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized\nMaintain the dishwashing station and three-compartment sink in pristine condition, following all food safety and sanitation protocols\nInspect equipment regularly for proper functioning and report any maintenance issues to management promptly\nKeep kitchen floors, work surfaces, and equipment clean and organized throughout your shift\nManage garbage disposal by emptying trash containers and transporting waste to appropriate disposal areas\nPerform light maintenance and custodial tasks as assigned to support kitchen operations\nAdhere strictly to all food safety, HACCP, and occupational health and safety procedures\nMaintain a positive, customer-focused attitude when interacting with guests, customers, coworkers, and management\nWork flexibly according to business needs, including evenings and weekends.\nEnsure the security and proper care of company assets and equipment\n Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar kitchen general help role\nStrong knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and HACCP compliance\nFamiliarity with occupational health and safety (OHS) procedures and best practices\nAbility to operate commercial dishwashing equipment and kitchen tools effectively\nExcellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards\nStrong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work harmoniously in a fast-paced environment\nExceptional customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor\nPhysical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks\nCapability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards\nStrong time management and organizational skills\nReliable, punctual, and resilient with a positive attitude toward challenges\nClear communication skills and willingness to follow instructions\nBilingualism in French and English is a valued asset\n Sodexo is committed to Employment Equity and Diversity.
