Our Healthcare Division has an exciting new opportunity to join the Sodexo team as our next Housekeeper at our facility located inCochrane, AB. You will need to provide an up to date vaccination record and obtain a Criminal Background check for vulnerable sector employment.

You must have reliable transportation to be able to attend the job site in Cochrane, AB.

We offer a competitive salary as well as a New Hire Bonus:

• Six-Month Retention Bonus: One time $1,000 retention bonus for FT employees and 500$ retention bonus for PT employees upon successful completion of six months, based on the following minimum shift requirements:
• Monthly Meal Recognition: Full-time Cochrane employees would receive one meal voucher/gift card per month for a local Cochrane business.

Where: Cochrane, AB (northwest)

What: Full time and Casual Positions available

When: Monday to Sunday hours 8:00 am to 4pm , 4 pm to 11:45pm (Close)

Hourly wage: $17.50/hr *Shift premium paid for worked hours *

As a Full Time or Casual / Part-time Houskeeper on our team, you will:

• Collect all waste (soiled linen and garbage)
• Spot clean walls and windows including blinds
• Clean center core rooms and alcoves
• Change bedside and/or shower curtains if soiled
• Clean isolation and off-isolation rooms
• Thoroughly clean washrooms
• Clean all patient rooms
• Vacuum (as required)
• Lock to remove Sharp and Bio Containers, place in Soiled Hold
• Disinfect all horizontal surfaces- paying special attention to “High Contacted Items”
• Remove all tape and tape residue from walls and doors Restock Supplies
• Damp dust above shoulder level
• Dust and Wet mop floors’
• Any other related tasks

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• A minimum of experience working with hospital housekeeping, facilities services, janitorial and custodial managing a team
• If you are located outside of Cochrane, you will require a reliable vehicle to access site
• High School diploma or some post-secondary education
• Up to date vaccination record
• Clear Criminal Background check
• Must be able to work 8 hours consecutively
• Must be able to lift to 20 lbs
