You'll be talking directly with purchasing managers, shop owners, and plant operators across pipe fabrication, mechanical contracting, industrial construction, energy, and manufacturing as we push hard to define and dominate this market.\nThe Role\nThis is a Founding BDR role for Westgate Supply. The first version of the outbound motion is built and producing; you're taking it over and turning it into a machine.\nYour job is simple but demanding: generate RFQs. You'll be on the phones all day, testing messaging, turning conversations into quote requests, and feeding real market feedback back into targeting, scripts, and the product line.\nWe are in-person only and full-time in San Francisco. This is your chance to be one of the first sales hire in a new office that we're building out from scratch.\nWhat You'll Do\nMake 80-100+ outbound calls per day to purchasing managers, shop owners, and plant buyers.\nGenerate 100+ qualified RFQs per week and stay on the account through first order.\nOwn CRM hygiene in Close and next steps until deals are closed.\nRewrite, test, and refine scripts in real time, keep what converts, kill what doesn't.\nLearn the industrial supply landscape quickly and speak confidently with buyers who have been ordering parts for 20+ years.\nWork closely with sales leadership to iterate on ICP, messaging, and outreach.\nWhat We're Looking For\nHard workers and fast learners who want a serious career in sales with plenty of growth opportunities.\nComfortable with rejection, repetition, and pressure.\nConfident speaking with blue-collar buyers and owners, not just executives.\nSelf-motivated and accountable, you don't need hand-holding.\nExcited by building something new rather than being managed at a big company.\nNo prior industrial or distribution experience required; we'll teach you the industry.\nWhy You Should Join\nGround Floor Ownership: You're joining early and helping define how industrial supply is sold at Westgate.\n\nImmediate Impact: Your calls directly drive revenue and decide which segments we go after next.\n\nFast Growth: There's no fixed ladder here.
