Join us to invest in yourself, your career, and the financial world.\nThe role:\nWe are seeking an experienced and highly organized Paralegal to support SoFi’s Litigation and Arbitration group within our Legal Department. Key responsibilities include end-to-end matter management, assisting with document collections and reviews, legal invoice and vendor tracking, legal hold implementations, and providing support to in-house counsel on legal requests. This role oversees daily process management for the team and reports to the Senior Paralegal, Service of Process Manager.\nThe ideal candidate brings a strong background supporting litigation and arbitration in both law firm and in-house settings, alongside hands-on experience in matter management and legal support workflows. Detail-oriented and proactive, you excel at partnering with attorneys, outside counsel, and cross-functional teams to navigate complex legal disputes.\nWhat you’ll do:\nExperienced and highly organized paralegal to support SoFi’s Litigation and Arbitration group.\nProven hands-on experience with end-to-end matter management in law firm and in-house settings.\nDirect experience assisting with document collections, review, and legal hold implementations.\nStrong background in managing legal invoices, tracking, and maintaining vendor relationships.\nAbility to oversee daily process management and streamline legal support workflows for the paralegal team.\nProven track record of supporting in-house counsel with responding to complex legal requests.\nDetail-oriented and proactive mindset suited for navigating complex legal disputes.\nExcellent collaboration skills for partnering effectively with attorneys, outside counsel, and cross-functional teams.\nSolid background supporting litigation and arbitration matters across various stages.\nWhat you’ll need:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; paralegal certification is a plus.\n4+ years of experience as a paralegal, in either a law firm or in-house legal department. At least 2 years experience as a paralegal in a law firm is strongly preferred.\nStrong experience with litigation tracking and case management platforms (e.g., Legal Tracker, CounselLink, or similar).\nStrong knowledge of the subpoena and litigation and arbitration processes.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting multiple, and often short, deadlines.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nComfort working cross-functionally with attorneys, cross-functional partners, and external service providers.\nAbility to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.\nExperience in fintech, financial services, or a regulated environment is a plus.\nNice to have:\nExperience working for a financial services company and/or in-house legal department.\nProficiency with Legal Tracker, LexisNexis, and Relativity/other e-discovery platforms.\nExperience e-filing via PACER and state court online filing systems. Experience with Atlassian/Jira or other workflow management software.\nCompensation and Benefits\nThe base pay range for this role is listed below.
