Join us to invest in yourself, your career, and the financial world.\nThe role: \nSoFi’s Creative Studio is seeking a highly detail-oriented Production Designer with deep expertise in Figma template development, visual design systems, and scalable production workflows. This role will focus on building, maintaining, and governing production-ready templates and design assets across digital and print channels.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong visual judgment with technical production expertise and a deep understanding of how design systems translate across formats, teams, and platforms. This person will help establish efficient, consistent, and high-quality design practices across the organization.\nWhat you’ll do:\nBuild, maintain, and manage scalable Figma templates, components, libraries, styles, variables, and production systems.\nTranslate brand standards and creative direction into flexible, easy-to-use templates for digital, print, social, presentations, email, and marketing channels.\nEstablish clear template structures, naming conventions, usage guidelines, and documentation.\nCreate systems that support consistency while allowing for appropriate content and layout flexibility.\nManage template updates, version control, archival processes, and ongoing system improvements.\nAudit Figma files and templates for visual consistency, usability, accessibility, accuracy, and alignment with brand standards.\nDevelop and maintain production-ready assets across multiple sizes, formats, and channels.\nAdapt designs across digital and print applications while maintaining the integrity of the visual system.\nCreate efficient workflows for high-volume asset production, localization, versioning, and content updates.\nMaintain organized digital asset libraries, file structures, documentation, and handoff standards.\nIdentify production risks and system inefficiencies, then develop practical solutions that improve quality and speed.\nSupport the continued evolution of the organization’s visual design system and production infrastructure.\nContribute to the evolution and documentation of design systems, templates, workflows, and production standards.\nWhat you’ll need: \n6+ years of experience in production design, graphic design, or a related field.\nAdvanced experience building and managing Figma templates, components, libraries, styles, variables, and shared design systems.\nFamiliarity with Figma variables, auto layout, component properties, publishing workflows, and template permissions.\nStrong portfolio demonstrating scalable visual systems and high-quality digital and print production.\nExpert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.\nStrong understanding of typography, grid systems, layout, hierarchy, composition, color, and image production.\nExperience developing templates for digital channels, including web, email, social media, presentations, and responsive formats.\nExceptional attention to detail and a structured approach to quality assurance.\nStrong understanding of design system governance, documentation, accessibility, and version control.\nKnowledge of accessibility standards and digital file specifications.\nAbility to manage multiple projects, priorities, and system updates in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to improve processes and identify production efficiencies.\nNice to have:\nKnowledge of print production, including prepress, color management, paper and finishing specifications, proofing, and vendor requirements.\nExperience preparing printed materials such as direct mail, brochures, packaging, signage, event materials, retail collateral, and large-format graphics.\nExperience working in financial services, technology, retail, or another detail-sensitive industry.\nCompensation and Benefits\nThe base pay range for this role is listed below.
