We are searching for a candidate who is local to the area and is looking for a long-term role in a stable environment with opportunity for growth. Your expertise will make you an important part of our team!\nJob Responsibilities\nAssist with electrical and instrumentation maintenance, replacing and repairing components and parts as needed, programming monitoring systems, and troubleshooting issues.\nIdentify the root cause of quality and production deficiencies and take corrective action.\nAssist the production department with outage management and safety enhancements.\nFollow verbal and written directions as well as work orders to complete tasks and communicate openly between shifts.\nPerform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and instrumentation systems.\nEnsure proper operation of robotic systems by maintaining all mechanical, electronic, and electrical components.\nGather PLC input and output data to track equipment efficiency.\nCollaborate with team members to resolve problems, uncover the root causes, and assist in enhancing processes by identifying inefficiencies and design problems.\nRecommend improvements and make adjustments.\nUnderstand and utilize various electrical schematic wiring diagrams.\nProvide troubleshooting and maintenance support for all assigned automated systems at all hours of the day and night, depending on plant schedule.\nFollow regulations supporting Sofidel America’s “Good Manufacturing Practices” and HACCP to promote a safe, sanitary, and hygienically sound workplace.\nAssists in on-the-job training of others.\nAll other duties as assigned\nJob Requirements\nTechnical Degree in Electrical, Electronics Technology, Electro-Mechanical or Automation/Engineering preferred or two (2) years of experience in related area\nExperience in a production environment, particularly as it relates to automation technology\nStrong organizational and
