You will develop and lead a high-performance team that is motivated, innovative, and supports personal development. Ensuring that all team members follow all health and safety procedures and regulations\nJob Responsibilities\nResponsible for leading, training, and developing 50 - 60 associates (finished goods, raw materials, pulp, and parent reels). Available to support 24/7 operation. Must be willing to work off hours when needed. At times will require late nights and weekends. \nto identify inventory discrepancies and assist in monthly and quarterly cycle counts. (Inventories may be scheduled on the weekends, and the end of year inventory is the second Saturday of December)\nPartner with converting and paper machine supervisors to ensure alignment of daily needs, internal and external, while continuously aiding in the improvement processes and efficiencies of shipping, receiving, and storage of parent reels, and finished goods.\nDevelop a relationship with resources (i.e. traffic, customer service, planners, etc…) and ensure timely communication of needs and or watchouts that impacts the operations.\nResponsible for monitoring, improving, and controlling the operation while minimizing demurrage.\nEffectively demonstrate an understanding of the supply chain and how it impacts Sofidel America as a whole.\nAbility to strategically and effectively shift associates between sites to support daily work volumes while minimizing overtime to accomplish goals.\nResponsible for leading daily/weekly communication with paper scheduling and planners to optimize warehouse space capacity based on forecast and departmental needs.\nDemonstrates an adaptive mindset that actively identifies and modifies status quo - to positively impact outcomes with new approaches.\nCreate a process that delivers zero reject rolls to converting lines.\nEnsure goods are received in a timely manner to ensure inventory accuracy\nUnderstands and enforces mill safety policies/procedures. Ensures all associates are aware of and adhere to safety policies/procedures in compliance with OSHA rules and regulations.\nInvestigates and rectifies safety Go, See, Think, Do (GSTDs) through completion.\nPerform daily safety evaluation of employees\nMaintains a clean work environment conducive to safe work habits and encourages employee accountability.\nJob Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent required \nCollege Degree Preferred\nInternal Candidates must be in a coordinator, lead position and level 5 or higher.\nProficient with Microsoft Office\nMust have strong SAP knowledge and inventory control experience.
