# Mechanical Technician

Position Overview This individual will contribute their professional and technical knowledge in order to increase the effectiveness of our operating systems, enhance the quality of our products, and identify more cost-effective ways to achieve these objectives while lowering expenses. This individual will perform maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, avoid mechanical failure, and modify, replace, and repair parts and components as needed to keep the plant running safely and effectively. Job Responsibilities Enter work orders into the appropriate computer systems, monitor required work, and keep track of parts in stock. Carry out expert upkeep and repairs on a variety of mechanical and physical structures. working from sketches, blueprints, and drawings. Determine the priority for the planned equipment shutdown by performing preventative routine maintenance, executing diagnostics, replacing parts, and testing equipment operations. Examine procedures for their relevance and evaluate the suitability of engineering equipment. Examine mechanical equipment to identify potential problems and participate in process improvement efforts to identify inefficiencies and design flaws. Co
