# Transportation Coordinator

Position Overview Sofidel America is part of the Sofidel Group, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of tissue paper products. The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the efficient movement of finished goods and raw materials across Sofidel America's manufacturing and distribution network. This role works closely with carriers, warehouses, customer service, planning, and supply chain teams to support on-time delivery and exceptional customer service. Job Responsibilities Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation activities to support customer requirements and business objectives. Monitor shipment status and proactively address transportation delays, service disruptions, and delivery issues. Serve as the primary point of contact for transportation providers regarding shipment scheduling, and issue resolution. Prepare carriers Request for Proposal (RFP) and participate in carrier selection and negotiation Track and report key transportation metrics, including on-time delivery performance, freight costs, carrier performance, and service levels.
