Non-stop.\nCook\nPay: $18.00/hour\nEmployment Type: Hourly\nCompany: Sofive Soccer Centers (Chicago)\nAbout the role\nSofive is looking for a reliable and team-oriented Cook to support the food and beverage operation at our soccer facility.\nThe Cook is responsible for preparing food consistently, maintaining strong kitchen standards, and helping ensure an efficient experience for players, families, guests, and staff. This role works closely with facility leadership and the broader food and beverage team during daily operations, leagues, tournaments, parties, and events.\nWhat you'll do\nFood Preparation & Service\nPrepare and cook menu items according to Sofive standards\nMaintain consistency in food quality, portioning, preparation, and presentation\nSupport efficient service during both regular operations and high-volume periods\nKitchen Operations\nComplete opening, service, and closing responsibilities\nMaintain clean and organized preparation areas, equipment, and storage spaces\nEnsure the kitchen remains stocked and ready for daily service\nFood Safety & Compliance\nFollow all food safety, sanitation, storage, and temperature-control requirements\nMaintain a clean and safe working environment\nFollow all applicable health and safety standards\nInventory & Product Control\nProperly receive, store, label, and rotate food products\nSupport portion control and waste reduction\nCommunicate inventory shortages or operational needs to management\nTeam Support\nWork closely with the food and beverage and facility teams\nSupport leagues, tournaments, events, and other high-volume facility programming\nMaintain a professional and positive approach with guests and team members\nQualifications\nPrevious kitchen, restaurant, hospitality, or food-service experience preferred\nStrong attention to food quality, cleanliness, and organization\nAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment\nReliable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a team\nAbility to follow recipes, procedures, and food-safety standards\nAvailability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed\nAbility to stand for extended periods and lift or move food products and supplies\nFood Handler or applicable food-safety certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
