The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Operations, Product and Technology teams to investigate settlement discrepancies, manage funding requirements and strengthen controls over client and company funds.\nKey Responsibilities\n1) Settlement Operations\nManage daily settlement activities across acquiring, issuing, wallet, and other payment channels.\nReconcile expected settlement inflows against actual funds received and investigate discrepancies promptly.\nMonitor failed, delayed, withheld, or outstanding settlements, including reserves, chargebacks, and other deductions.\nWork with internal teams, banks, payment schemes, and processing partners to resolve settlement breaks and support new settlement arrangements.\n2) Treasury and Liquidity Management\nPrepare and monitor the company’s daily cash and liquidity position, including short-term funding requirements.\nCoordinate prefunding, interbank transfers, and movement of funds across operational and settlement accounts.\nMonitor account balances, liquidity exposure, foreign currency requirements, and segregation of company and restricted funds.\n3) Reconciliation and Controls\nPerform and review daily bank-to-system, processor-to-bank, and settlement ledger reconciliations.\nEnsure reconciling items are investigated and resolved within agreed timelines, with complete supporting documentation and audit trails.\nMaintain strong treasury controls and support improvements in reconciliation automation, exception reporting, and operational processes.\n4) Reporting and Stakeholder Management\nPrepare daily treasury and settlement reporting covering inflows, outflows, outstanding items, bank balances, liquidity, and key operational risks.\nEscalate material settlement discrepancies, funding shortfalls, and operational incidents promptly.\nProvide management with analysis of settlement trends, cash utilisation, banking costs, and operational exposures.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business Administration, or a related discipline.\n3-5 years of relevant experience in treasury, settlement operations, banking operations, payment operations, or reconciliation.\nExperience in fintech, payments, acquiring, e-wallets, banking, or payment processing is strongly preferred.\nGood understanding of settlement cycles, bank reconciliation, prefunding, merchant settlements, and liquidity management.\nStrong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills; exposure to treasury systems, reconciliation platforms, banking portals, SQL, or data visualisation tools is an advantage.\nHigh attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under daily settlement deadlines.\nStrong ownership, integrity, and accountability when handling company and client funds.\nPreferred Attributes\nHands-on and comfortable working with detailed transaction-level, settlement, and banking data.\nPrior experience managing multi-channel settlement or treasury operations within payments or fintech.\nFamiliarity with acquiring, issuing, wallet, merchant settlement, and safeguarding arrangements.\nExperience supporting treasury or reconciliation automation and exception-management initiatives.\nComfortable analysing liquidity trends, banking costs, settlement exposures, and operational risks.\nAble to work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Product, Technology, and external financial partners.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3782,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Financial Software & Embedded Finance","Payment Processing & Gateways"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T16:55:46Z"},{"event":"close","at":"2026-09-29T16:47:28Z"}],"liveness":null,"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/soft-space-treasury-settlement-operations-executive-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/soft-space-treasury-settlement-operations-executive-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-01T12:38:17Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":3982,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":1018,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-02T00:00:00Z"}}}
