The designated candidate will join a collaborative team environment, providing support necessary toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables, and provide effective communication to all levels of staff.\nResponsibilities\nManage a Linux and Windows based cloud environment, including virtual resources for applications in development and production.\n\nDesign solutions to improve performance and security for the client’s Red Hat Linux servers and configure enterprise services such as Email, Single Sign-On (SSO) and DNS.\n\nInstall, configure, and maintain Windows servers and services.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues reported via Service Desk systems and automated monitoring is required.\n\nPerform patch management across all environments and monitor system performance.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's Degree in any related field.\n5+ years experience with Windows Server administration, networking, and system administration background.\n5+ years of experience with Linux operating systems (RHEL) including patching and maintenance\nExperience with leveraging version control systems on team-based projects (GitLab)\n2+ years of experience with Amazon Cloud Services\nExperience with Active Directory (Windows AD, ADFS, Kerberos, and SAML)\nExperience with Gitlab (Intermediate)\nExperience with Microsoft Windows Server Administration (Intermediate)\nExperience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) (Advanced)\nExperience with Active Directory (AD) (Intermediate)\nExperience with Shell Scripting (Intermediate)\nPREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS\nAbility to architect enterprise solutions including data, display, and information architecture\nThorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs\nComfortable working with automation tools by writing/modifying scripts for development, maintenance and system monitoring using Python and other scripting languages\nExperience deploying open-source and custom applications (Drupal, React, and NodeJS)\nExperience creating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins\nCertification: AWS Solutions Architect - Associate\nAbout Us\nSoft Tech Consulting, Inc. is a woman and minority-owned business headquartered in Chantilly, VA.
